Status Updates From How Do You Live?

I can already see this book as a Studio Ghibli film in my head—but I don’t actually see it as “The Boy and the Heron” yet. in my head, the atmosphere is closer to slower, less fantasy-focused films like “From Up on Poppy Hill” and “The Wind Rises” than it is to “Spirited Away” and the actual movie it became. interested to see what aspects of this story were picked up by Hayao Miyazaki.
