i didnt have many notes here
though i did highlight and bookmark a bunch of stuff in the actual book

this turned out very well
surprisingly

i’d rather get to book two

i’m rating this book four stars

the second book to reach these heights in less than a week

the book gods are smiling down upon me

I kind of hate this book

I’ve barely finished chapter two

Everything I read makes me feel gross
I can’t even relate or sympathize with the fmc

How long is her mess going to loop until things get interesting??? And worth reading??

This would be a terrible reread

But already I just don’t like this fmc

Surely that’s something for me to self reflect on

Chapter one is a hot stinky mess

I hope there’s nowhere to go but up from here..,

But I’m not going to have any expectations

The writing and story is so…all over the place
Not just the scene

I don’t myself skim reading to get the gist

this book should’ve been advertised as chick-lit rather than romance which is basically only a side plot

i just can’t connect with the FL which isn’t making me as invested

okay im not even 30% in but idk, I don’t really connect with the FL & the ML is kinda giving vibes that he basically only exists to be the FL’s bf

hoping this gets me out of my slump

So close to DNFing because of the whole “Mark situation,” but also because Jane getting to see a neurologist and not only be believed by them, but also to have tests run the same day to see if she has a tumor or something is the most unrealistic part of this whole story and I’m irrationally angry about it.
