Status Updates From The Consent

I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t this…every character is just so unlikable.

So far, not that great…maybe it gets better?

I don’t like how the book has jumped forward in time and suddenly the girl is giving birth. Why would they leave it to the last second to sort the adoption out if they’d already agreed on adoption? They moved in together months prior and it makes sense that they’d start looking into it right away, not when she’s a week from giving birth. Awfully convenient for plot, too convenient…

Enjoying this so far, I’m surprisingly finding it hard to figure out what will happen.

My prediction is the husband and wife will separate at some point, he doesn’t seem to want the kid as much as she does - more so to keep her happy. I think there’s more to their marriage than we realise so far
