The communication piece of letting our students in on the purpose of each step changes their perception of the learning experience. If we can build a feeling of shared goals, maybe we can minimize the adversarial relationship between students and teachers. Wouldn't it be better if we all understood that we are working toward common objectives? This shouldn't be revolutionary but it still feels like a paradigm shift.
