I see why this is one of Martha Keyes’ best works. This is SO much fun!

Very nice romance+also a good lessons regarding Regency society, which isn't usual to find in books, although we can also find some hints in Jane Austen's novels.
In addition to being a sweet love story, is much more historically worthy than you might think at first glance.
At the beginning I thought it was a 3 star book...then as I read further I thought: "I'll give it 4", now I really think I'll give it 5.

while it seemed too naive and obvious in the first 2 chapters, I soon began to enjoy and like the story. Now that halfway through the book I am in the midst of romance, I find myself dreaming together with the two protagonists.
