What is with this surge in romances where the characters pine after one another for years????

I don’t know about this being a retelling for Much Ado…but this seems interesting so far. Which is more than I can say for a few books I’ve read or started to read this year.

I mean, so far I’m amused but where is this going? Oh man..is he the survival guide on their trip? Are they gonna end up sharing a tent or something? lol finally a dude chapter so we’ll see I suppose.

I am reading this in a British accent and I cannot stop myself.
