This book is exhausting. Nothing good has happened. No hope. No wins for the hero’s. They have gone on pointless missions taking up hundreds of pages, each one ending with nothing accomplished. As readers we wade through the bad to get the triumphant moments. The “aha!” Can anybody tell me if something actually happens in this book? I’m too far in to stop but I’m lacking hope in the author.
