currently a bit unimpressed. dark academia is my favorite genre, but i feel like the stakes/climax are a bit low. like tessa and chris just had an argument, and now it's like... what are we doing for the next 80% of the book? i understand it's an apollo/daphne adaptation, so i hope things get darker. but currently lacking 4 me.
