Status Updates From God, Technology, and the Ch...

I don't necessarily agree with the authors theology on the subjects discussed, but I do think the discussion is valuable in and of itself

“Human innovation is a wonderful gift but a disappointing God. We cannot save ourselves. In the end, our innovations leave hearts unsatisfied, souls lost, and bodies cold in the grave.”

“Whether it’s bringing the sacrificial lamb for the offering or creating the wine and bread used for Communion, even man’s most holy creative acts are fundamentally acts of destruction. We make, and therefore animals, grapes, and grain must die.”

"The ultimate goal of technology is to usher us deeper into the creative genius of God, to direct our hearts to God, to adore him and to thank him for our daily bread. God's glory is the end of creation and the aim of all our innovations."
