Good lord Bonhoeffer is blowing my mind already

Bonhoeffer's The Cost of Discipleship is likely pretty low on my recommended reads for the average layperson. I'll need to reread further down the line to extract more from his work. I'd call into question his exegis on Sermon on the Mount as he does not seem to account for hyperbole (albeit I do think when Jesus said to be whole he wasn't using hyperbolic language) and some cultural context. Overall fantastic read!
