rereading, with an eye to the big picture this time...

Chapter 3, "Activity Theory in a Nutshell," is a good refresher for those acquainted with AT and a good "primer," as the authors call it, to those new to it. I like the historical perspective, often touted by those who use cultural-historical activity theory (CHAT), but often glossed over due to necessity (space often prevents it).

Shaping up to be an interesting read. An overall look at activity theory + a discussion of its applications to interaction design...this could be useful!
