Consumed in one day and completely blown away by the level of unapologetic gore. This subverted any expectations I had from the first book I read in this series. I haven’t had lots of time to get to know the characters but this is the least formulaic thriller I’ve read. At every turn I was convinced of people surviving, solid 4. just because the of the level of rage. Would love to see this series on screen

I feel like this book completely slapped me in the face. The shooting was brutal, I was saying oh no after only meeting the characters in the book before. Now I’m going to have to read the whole series from the start after this. Crazy events and descriptions. I’m actually loving the pace of this one so much more. Cannot wait to see what happens
