So far, George has defined Capital, Land, and Labor (as many economists do in their books) but then turned to criticizing Malthus and his theory that was accepted (and still accepted hugely) by society. In defense of Malthus, he lived in a time where he could only come to the conclusion that resource usage is linear (even though the Industrial Revolution would argue otherwise).
