Got a reminder the authors are from the UK when I came across an experiment involving Smarties. Was briefly confused by a recommendation to include a brown Smartie in an experiment and then remembered oh yeah, they mean THOSE Smarties (which are very similar to M&Ms) - not our little tart wafer candies.

The home economics section was kinda random. The history section is already the most interesting so far.

I wish I could show my school-days self her middle aged version sitting here voluntarily learning math before bed. Lmfao

This book is somehow both very interesting, and a great way to become sleepy.

Definitely will be reading this quite slowly and taking my sweet time with this so this will be added probably as one of 2 or 3 total books I’m reading at a time. 1 fiction, 1 self-help, and this one ☺️
