"Darryl Jenifer holds the bass while Dr. Know slams down on his guitar, apparently measuring the volume of his amps. Both have incredibly long dreadlocks and look at each other knowingly. Earl Hudson, from behind his drums, marks the rhythm for what's coming next by endlessly striking the hi-hat in perfect time." Why write a book about music when this is how you describe live music?
