I just really loved the dynamic between hades and Persephone. I loved that hades was not just a broody ultra passive shadow daddy. I also liked how the pantheon was dealt with, making it feel fae with the two courts and fae style copper dealing and the brutal passing of power. It made them feel like fae gods without making them actual greek gods. Better or at least different from ACOTAR

I'm trying not to let it derail my reading, but the author has some terrible taste-- Harry Potter and live action Disney??
