Status Updates From Tokyo Ever After

I feel like the author doesn’t know much about Japan because why is she talking about guns and bulletproof glass when Japan has extremely restrictive gun laws and guns are only used very very rarely even by police. It doesn’t make sense??? It takes me out of the story when the guns are mentioned bc I don’t think it’s accurate?

Laughed and cried. I’m not even halfway through the book.
