Status Updates From Vicious Spirits (Gumiho, #2)

Mi-young wakes up from a dream and goes into Jihoon's room but the evil spirit is pissing him again and they get into a bit of a fight. Junu wakes up overhearing Somin and Mi-young talking blaming himself for everything. He decides to call the number on the business card. He meets with a shaman descendant who tells him how to save his friends but with a huge sacrifice... he had to die.

Junu arrives back angry and destructive. It takes a while but Somin is able to calm him down with an embrace. Junu then tells Somin; his story and how’s he blamed himself all these years and that he was never enough . Somin listens and does her best to comfort him. Junu then admits how much he care for her and Somin apologies for being so hard on him when they first meet. They then fall asleep cuddled up together

Jihoon wakes up suddenly himself and sees his father and calls himself a murderer. Miyoung reassures him it’s not his fault. Junu decides to kill him and takes him to Hyuk. Somin then gets up confused with Miyoung and she sees blood on Miyoung’s clothes, Hyuk then shows up and tells Somin she is the only one Junu needs right now to save him from losing his soul.

Somin meets possessed Jihoon and Changwon and runs into Jihoon’s father on the way. Somin sends Changwon away to protect him. Somin and possessed Jihoon he’d to his old apartment and Somin gets nervous. Jihoon’s father then shows up looking for money then Miyoung and Junu show up just in time to save her. But too late for Jihoon’s father

Jihoon gets up sudenly himself. His father was dying and he was blaming himself. Junu decided to kill him and he met with Hyuk and Junu was losing all hope and his soul Somin wakes up confused and sees Miyoung with blood on her clothes. Then Hyuk comes to see Somin and tells her she is what Junu needs right now

February 4th, 2026
Somin meets possessed Jihoon and Changwan and she sends Changwon away to protect him. Somin and possessed Jihoon go to his old apartment and Jihoon's father came to get money. Mi-young and Junu come in just in time to save Somin and see Jihoon's father unconscious.

Somin finds out Jihoon is possessed by Junu’s evil ex and not Jihoon hurts her mother. Somin tries to fight but fails but she is then saved by Junu and Miyoung, but possessed Jihoon gets away. Junu then explains everything to Somin and that he didn’t know a spirit could posses his body but since Jihoon held a fox bead it’s possible. Somin is angry and Junu and says she should have never let Jihoon go with him.

Miyoung finds Jihoon in the forest acting strange. Junu takes Somin to an amusement park on her father’s birthday. Things go well until emotions flare and spirits take over. Junu then finds out Jihoon is possessed by his evil ex. Miyoung then walks in and and Junu and the reaper Hyuk and he gives them three days to straighten things out.

Somin finds out Jihoon is possessed by jun's evil ex and he hurts her mother. Somin tries to fight but fails but Mi-young and Junu save her but possessed Jihoon gets away. Junu then explains everything an that he didn't know a spirit could possessed Jihoon;s body but since he held a fox bead its possible. Somin is angry at Junu and says she should have never let Jihoon go with him.

Mi-young infd Jihoon is the forest not doing well. Junu and somin go to an amusement park fr her fathers birthday. things go well to emotions rise and spirits take over. Junu then finds out Jihoon is possessed by his evil late Gumhio lover. Mi-young then walks in on Junu and the reaper Hyuk and he gives them three days to set things right.

Miyoung says she wants to go with Junu but she’s too weak and it’s dangerous. Jihoon then says he wants to go but Miyoung won’t allow it. The next morning Junu gets ready and Somin goes over and tells him Jihoon will come no matter what and she asks him to protect him at all costs. Junu ageees.

Junu tells the group about the tear between the mortal and ghost world and its because of Miyoung’s bead. They decide to make a plan Somin mentions Junu’s Dokkabi staff but he admits he doesn’t have it ans won’t say why or where it is and Jihoon gets frustrated and tells him to leave. So he then leave but Somin follows and convinces him to stay. He agrees and says he will go find his staff.

Somin admits to Junu she wants to talk about their kiss and. But they end up kissing again. They then get intruded on by a goblin and Somin saves Junu’s life. But she gets knocked out and talks to Jihoon’s Halmoni. Somin sees Junu is not good and she reluctantly etays g e night. Junu then wakes up the next morning construed with Somin’s feelings and he asks if she regrets coming last night.
