This is the most stressful and pessimistic gardening book ever. Ugh.

This is a hard gardening book to read just because it directly contradicts so many of the gardening methods I've read about elsewhere, and trying to read it with a permaculture mindset is even more challenging. The whole section on symphylans is both alarming and depressing as his only sure-fire method to deal with them requires something that I most certainly won't be able to do with my garden.

I'm loving it... Totally luxurious to read. Can't find it right now though... Where did it go??!
