i’ve been reading it quite slowly bc of school lol 😭😭😭 but i’m enjoying it

i’m very confused on the parts in the past tense w/ an “unknown date.” are those his dreams orrr?? because it talks about magic and immortality, it places a great deal of value on a dagger in asher’s possession and seems like he’s hiding from someone or something? idk i’m confused about those little snippets. otherwise, i’m enjoying it so far & i’m sensing a sort of connection between asher & sayid

Halfway through.. am loving the writing as usual, but the story is a lot scarier than I normally read. Guess I should have read the synopsis a little more careful 😅

this is just.....not tightly plotted at all, like i know the timeskips the mc doesn't remember are The Point but they don't feel effective? i just end up more confused than i should be
