Status Updates From The Books of Jacob

I've found the perfect book for my European vacation next week. The only problem is that I might finish it before my flight to Budapest on Sunday. I have to force myself not to plow through this one, because I need to savior it. My first impressions are that this book almost reads like a Polish version of Terra Nosta by Carlos Fuentes: blending historical fiction, religion, and postmodernism, all in one massive work.

Since its pagination is backwards (I’ve learned it’s a wink to Hebrew books), my progress will also be backwards.

Don’t mind me: I’ll be glazing this book throughout my European journey next week.
