Status Updates From Doll Face

Tim Curran’s writing so far seems like he thinks his audience isn’t highly intellectual or something. He’s explained things in dialogue that I think could’ve been better off more vague and allowing the readers to put things together and figure things out. It almost feels like he’s holding my hand through the story, but perhaps I’m just used to crazy sci fi stories haha.

Won't be finishing this one.

The premise intrigued me as I'm a big fan of the Silent Hill series but ultimately I don't find the concept of living dolls frightening enough, nor the writing good enough, for me to enjoy reading the last half of this book.
