Home stretch - hopefully family doesn't burn down down the house in my absence

Well... I may have basically used all of Sunday to read but I am not unhappy about it.

chp6: start part 2: Morozko horse quest. They argue, and the next morning, they talk about her plans now. OMG she asks what he wants for his help and he asks her to think of him! AHH. Time for her to go, he advices she crossdresses to avoid trouble

chp5: Di & Sa, pass by other villages attacked by bandits until they reach Kasyans. At a monastery, soon 4 kids are begging to come in--YO it's been 8 years sis!

chp4: Sasha and Dmitrii are at mon. Kon is still at the tower. Kasyan appears and talks about bandits

chp3: Sasha and Prince, and HE"S BACK and bad talking Vasya to her sis

chp2: Sasha arrives @ tower, brought a lost traveller

Chp1: princess tower with her children and maids, they talk about a ghost and she tells a snow maiden love story

Misschien niet slim om een Russisch sprookje dat zich afspeelt midden in de winter, te lezen met 30+ graden buiten. Desalniettemin tot nu toe net zo pakkend en spannend als The Bear and the Nightingale.

I think the magic finally caught me …

Aka I am catching a glimpse as to why this trilogy is so beloved.
