Wtf, they were supposed to have reworked the spell so that it didn’t require a blood sacrifice but a sacrifice of power. I hate how these two series are supposed to work in tandem but they don’t match. Does the author even both comparing notes before publishing? This is such a great world but the holes and inconsistencies are a nightmare.

It’s so weird how these books are happening in tandem with the cottelhill series yet they don’t match when they should. How is Aidoneus suggesting another Pleiades witch for the hellmouth when he already discussed and agreed to hosting it with Thanos, Vi and the other two? Like, the world is so great and the story is awesome but this shit is exhausting and irritating. I shouldn’t have to do brain gymnastics.
