This is settling in to be such a fun book. Now I don't want it to go too fast! Our young dragon ambassador meets a cranky king, and cannot figure out the mystery of human genders. Really nifty worldbuilding involving minerals and rocks. So fun

Sherwood Smith is 10% done

I've been saving this book for when I could read it at leisure instead of piecemeal juggling many shiny sharp objects around here at Casa Los Locos. Well, that leisure time keeps miring on me, so piecemeal it is!

Read far enough last night to note a delightful relationship between a dragon and a human, and very interesting dragons. Author is playing around with well-known tropes--SO FUN!
