FINALLY! AN ADULT IS HELPING!!

I didn’t even realize how much I missed seeing classic children’s book villains until I got to Rita’s first appearance!! The cartoonish evilness! The thinly-veiled disdain for children! This is very “find this in one of my elementary school classrooms, yank it off the shelves and read 30 pages of it, and doubt its existence years later”-core yk

pardon me oversharing, but me reading this is wild, bc when my dad died it was like 3 days before he was supposed to march in a pride parade with PFLAG☠️the pride x grief combo is hitting… (EVEN DOWN TO A QUEER SIBLING THAT WAS EXTREMELY CLOSE TO HIM BECOMING EMOTIONALLY VOLATILE AND GRIEVING THE HARDEST??)
