Status Updates From The Peach Rebellion

This story takes place after the Depression and WWII, with families who are scarred by those hard years. Women’s ambitions conflict w their lack of property rights, as friends Peggy and Cassie come of age.

I really like this book right now. There are only a couple of main characters, but there needs to be more interaction with the other characters as well. I was wondering why people after the war didn't like fruit pickers at all if they were once fruit pickers. For the main part of what I read, it starts very smoothly and calmly.

I like the book right now. It has some good characters but I feel like there needs to be more interactions with everyone not just the main 2 right now. but I wonder how peach pickers was a bad thing back after the war.
