Claire Dean's essay 'In the Forest, Stories Grow: Writing Uncanny Fiction in Fairy Tales' is my favourite essay so far. And likely one of my favourite essays I've read in a long time, which is super nice to be enjoying non-fiction and academic writing again.

First essay I enjoyed, second bothered me a considerable amount. Hoping the next few bring back the spirit of the first!
