I genuinely concerned about the pacing of this book wdym we’re halfway in and it’s like “yeah okay I guess let’s try to get to the bottom of this”

personally if my child was participating in a scrabble tournament where someone previously DIED, I wouldn’t be letting them have a random roommate, but that’s just me.

They went to a restaurant and got milkshakes and the waitress said that they didn’t have straws any more and then about 20 sentences later the author says he said his drink with a straw, so what???
