This book won’t be getting more than 4 stars from me. I don’t see passionate love with these characters. They have their struggles and music to bond over but really lacked passion. As for her sister, Sammy: how can you make such terrible decisions for years, lose yourself and then want your kid which YOU abandoned to live the same life! I took a superstar to intervene and 5 years to wake her up 😬

The flashbacks are too long. It’s ripping me from the present to explain smth that shouldn’t take more than a couple of pages. Also, I know this has to be a slow and gentle love because he’s depressed and all but it’s too slow idk. I’m 70% in and they kissed once.

I knew Reese was her sister’s child. I FKN knew it. I was like why would they make a flashback about Oliver finding the sister of the pregnant girl cute lol

This is going to be an emotional read clearly. A struggling single mom and a pop star that lost his brother. I just don’t see a realistic way for their paths to cross yet. We shall see…
