The future is now, it is here, it is digital, it is rife w/ AI & Cloud computing storage/programming that provides byte orders of magnitude whose nomenclature are still being thought up. AI/Cloud computing are being hailed as the next Industrial Revolution and here in Mills’ tour de force, digital infrastructure IS next evolution necessary to transport the goods of tomorrow! Insightful, optimistic, smart, must read !

My third reading and I'm blazing through the book too quickly. I'm hereby limiting myself to only two chapters per day. There is an enormous amount of information in this book, but the bibliographic information is a gold mine of further reading.

The audiobook version of this book (which I had pre-ordered) was released on 2023-02-21st, so I switched over to that, starting at the beginning. It's been a pleasure to re-visit parts of this book that I've already read. Reading a book in physical form, then switching to the audio, solidifies much of the material in my mind. The book is a treasure trove of facts about the amazing abundance of our world.

Better and better. I appreciate the quality, and number of sources. Mills manages to enthuse by proxy with the quality of his writing. This first edition is sprinkled with annoying little typos. So far I've identified more than twenty. When I've finished my reading I plan to email the author so these can be fixed in the inevitable second edition.

Better than I had anticipated. It's rare that a non-fiction book keeps me up at night, but this one did. I had to force myself to stop reading.
