So far agreeing with some of the comments that mention Minton using this book as a sort of personal cynical venting session. Even so, it's refreshing to see someone examining their experiences through a lens that sees beyond their own personal bubble, and as a way of critiqueing the systems that aren't set up with our greater well-being in mind.
