Every second thought while reading this book: when will I be able to visit Cornwall..

Yay, I have finished it. I'd love to give this a glowing review, but that's likely not going to happen. 2.5 stars, probably.

The more I read, the more I want to pick this book apart. This is not a good mindset to be in while reading. Also, cum is not scalding hot. It's body temperature, not boiling water temperature. JFC.

Oh dear.

You'd think a book set in England would use proper English... You'd be wrong.

Oh editor, where art thou?
If you write your book in the present tense, then your description of past events need to be in simple past tense. "It has been two days since Mel and I met...", not "It had been two days..." The latter should be used if your book is written in past tense. Which this one is not.

whoever edited this appears to be allergic to commas. So many are missing. Also, Sea World is the proper name and should be capitalized. That schnitzel you were talking about is not weiner, but Wiener. And the plural of lip is lips, not lip's. And every time I stumble over these simple errors that any good editor or proofreader should have caught, I'm yanked out of the story flow. FFS.

two gratuitous self-love scenes, one for each MC, after they've met just one time under life-threatening circumstances, is not quite the story development I was looking for. These added nothing to the book at all.

New to me author, story set in Cornwall, interesting blurb. Thanks, KU.
