Status Updates From Seducing the Sorcerer

DNF @ 83%. It's been so long and I'd already been forcing myself to get as far as I did, I just can't bring myself to go back to finish.

DNFing at 20% of the audiobook cause I just can't stand the narrator. May pick up in physical form in future 🙄

The beginning was quite charming, but I'm getting a little bored. Too much just sitting around taking, flirting and horniness (on Fenn's part), not enough other stuff. Whatever that other stuff would be.

The sexual thoughts/remarks have come on too soon for my tastes

Meh on Fenn being a magician. I'm often annoyed by the whole MC finds out they're magical/have some special power thing.. which is difficult, bc it's super common. I prefer a) they already know they have magic and are maybe just learning to use it better, or b) they're just bormal. It feels so mary sue otherwise, bc they almost always go from 0 to being THE most powerful and THE most special/unique..

So far, so good... but the things mentioned in the reviews have me worried. It would seem that a few of my icks and pet peeves are coming. Also, I don't like beards, so between the descriptions and the cover.. I have not conjured up a flattering picture of the characters in my head lol

Ngl the sack horse is creepy af when it first gets up and starts following Fenn around... Fenn just thinks it's annoying and people would laugh at it though, so I guess that kind of thing is common enough within the magic system of their world
