DNFing this one. The author makes sweeping statements without sufficient thought given to the practicalities of what she is suggesting or the nuances of disability. Some statements are factually incorrect. She does not identify as a disabled person herself but is the parent to a non-speaking autistic daughter, so this is not an “own voices” book. All in all, this book was disappointing and not worth my time.
