Status Updates From Life of Melody

Eh, it got better as it went along. I kind of wish she just rewritten the opening for its publication in book format, though: the lead in could’ve been stronger.

I kind of like how it looks like he’s punching this kid in the one panel.

Gotta say, so far I’m finding this pretty vapid. Moments of cute. Lovely color palette. I think this must’ve originally been a Web comic, because it’s kind of hard for me to make out the finer details, and I think it’s been printed in dimensions just a bit too small. (Then again, I’m in my 40s and my eyes are going.)

The fake marriage of the two main characters ends up turning into something more. The book ends with them getting married.

The main characters seem to be more relaxed and not as agitated around one another anymore. They also seem to have some of the same interests leading them to become closer.

This book is about a fairy and a beast man who are fighting against who will get the human child they found in a forest left alone. Both of them end up passing as husbands in their human forms.
