The original short is quite intriguing I can see why it was serialized!

Page 9 - Mayumi does a ritual with Yuushirou to try to learn about Chloe’s memories. It brings bad spirits onto them... then she tries a phone booth ritual and he tells her Chloe shouldn’t have her memory returned! Then she makes 5e mistake of looking behind her and seeing a little boy god!

Page 8 - Kukuri is an alien?! That was so bizarre... but kinda of fun? Especially how she confessed to Onigashima! And she tried to bring his memory back so he knew she confessed. It’s crazy yet cute!

Page 7 - the rubber man story was poignant Chloe puts such fascinating twists on what is happening... S is rather naive and believes whatever the monsters tell him, lol.

Page 6 - This was a MERMAID occult story and was quite fun if somewhat disgusting. The suicide due to sea turtle soup is quite nasty but also sort of funny... if you can get into the mangaka’s odd taste with her mixture of dirty jokes and bizarre horror then you’ll find this quite good!
