Oddly, I understand more than I thought I would, but ultimately, it's too much of a struggle and at the moment, I'm not interested in reading a random autobiography.

This is going to be a rough read. One of the keys of reading (and listening) for language learning is to select input that is interesting, entertaining, and appealing.

A wordy autobiography about a person I don't know probably isn't the best choice!

I bought this book on Amazon - free. I am trying to improve my Italian language skills, and reading is a great way to increase vocabulary.

To achieve one of my 2024 reading goals, I have until Dec. 31 to finish reading a second book in Italian.
Will this be the one? I'm uncertain. Even with my paltry Italian, I can tell that the author is wordy.
