Status Updates From SHERLOCK HOLMES The Black L...

I had a problem with this one. There was too much debate/logic/surmising about who could have done what in the story. To maintain my interest, the book needed to be shorter, like the Sherlock Holmes short stories to which many of us are accustomed. I thought the author ha had Holmes smiling too much -- in my view, Holmes wasn't a smiler so this led to the story feeling inauthentic. I gave up on reading it at 50%.
