Also I guess this book is about Lee's family and that mystery but the setup to get there is so bad lol.

I guess cause I'm Asian but it's so weird to me that Lee is going to move out when she has a perfectly good private apartment in her aunt's home. And her aunt is probably getting older so Lee living there would be better for her aunt as well.
