I want to see the person who write this do a unit lesson for a history lesson for the state of TN and see if they feel the same way. Genuinely. And then teach it in actuality.

Important to note that Swain was on the President’s Advisory 1776 Commission which pushed for patriotic education which according to the American Historical Foundation cosigned by 47 other orgs which states, was written “without any consultation with professional historians of the United States, the report fails to engage a rich and vibrant body of scholarship that has evolved over the last seven decades.”

This book has already claimed that CRT favors one race over the other and via Ben Carson. 😕

I would like to say that this is purely for research reasons as moms for liberty has recommended it. Gotta read both sides. Big believer in public education. I want to see one of the author’s make a single lesson plan though following tn state standards and see if they still feel the same based on the first few paragraphs.

So far it’s heartbreaking! How can we allow teachers to tell little white kids that they are “oppressors”, even in kindergarten, and tell little black kids that they are victims ?! All people need to get together and teach our kids to LOVE and respect each other!! Is that REALLY too much to ask??
