The biggest surprise so far has been Lei Wujie walking around half naked. And in the middle of winter no less. Well, I can see why this didn't go through in live action 😂

I love how the first thing we learn about Xiao Se is his fur coat. That's practically half his personality 😂

I think for some reason the female characters are either loud brats (Sikong Qianluo) or repressed brats (Li Hanyi). So far, Wuxin the monk and Sikong Changfeng have been more lovable. Voice work for Lei Wujie and Wuxin have been great.

Am switching to the audioplay version. So far the voice actors are the same ones who did the anime. 太棒了

From what I’ve read the 1st season animation seems to have stayed true to and in some ways even improved on the novel, but several parts of the 2nd season look a bit rushed, even though I haven’t read quite so far.
