just discovered this is the third in a series and even though the stories are standalone i suspect this would have been a lot better with the context lol

working through these ARCs and realizing that past me had pretty good discernment and taste. this book seems like it's gonna be a cutie.

Having read the other two novellas, I am very frustrated at Dev's suspicions and doubt. They make total sense for her character, but like, c'mon. The dramatic irony is delightful.

All right. I'm into this little adventure Dev has gotten herself into. Pretty sure she's in for a few surprises though...

Ok, I'm digging this (see what I did there?). I will say, it's fascinating to read this knowing what happened in the first book. I'm so anxious to see what Dev and Lurai find!
