I don't think it's a good commentary on Rousseau if to demonstrate how stupid he was, you need to invent a woman (some paragon of virtue village girl who's never seen a man in her life before the hero), just to say that the hero can't fall for her cuz she is too ignorant, and he ends up falling in love with another paragon of virtue girl who has education unlike the village girl

There's a lot of repetition over "he's bad" - "no, you're mistaken" - "maybe he's good" - "maybe not"

E honestamente a história da Lady Delacour não cola. Foi tudo auto infligido, filha, não tenho pena de ti, embora o teu marido seja otário.
