Status Updates From The Honey Bus

Finished.

Reading for our book club. So far I’m finding it rather boring. The lessons in bee keeping don’t particularly interest me and I’m having trouble believing bees could help a little five year old feel better about the lack of love and insecurity of her life.

Too close to my childhood to enjoy this. Grampa here is a hoarder, gramma is cold and panders to Meredith’s mother. Why don’t they get her to a psychiatrist instead of just letting her lie in bed all day and ignore her kids.

On chapter 3 - not impressed or engaged so far.

Just started this one for our book club. I hope this isn’t all about a dysfunctional family - I grew up in one of those and there have been so many books with that theme.
