Cheerleading should've been a full book on its own. Golf was cute and makes me want to go play a round, even though I'm terrible. Rowing was garbage though. None of the characters felt human in the slightest. I skipped most of it.

I'm really enjoying this so far. It's some good fluffy YA short stories. The soccer story was a bit weak, but football came through. I kind of wish the short story titles included the sport they were featuring, but I get why they didn't.

Man if the first story already made me cry, I'm not sure how the rest of these stories are gonna go 😭😭😭

Also first story being about fastpitch softball and I'm already impressed how fluent the author is in the language. Yes, Oklahoma City IS the capital of fastpitch and that is, in fact, the correct way to bracket the age groups. Do you know how rare this is?!?
