lana’s dog got attacked by a mountain lion and he’s bleeding out, and ofc her bones are broken so there’s no much she can do but panic cuz she can move and there was vultures around. the others have still not found astrid’s brother. sam is thinking back on the powers he has, and thinking about the fact that he’s not the only one (the little girl who started the fire in the house also has powers).

quinn, astrid and sam went looking for astrid’s lil brother at her moms tennis court. they couldn’t find him. they did find this boarder wall idk. then a 14yr old named albert went into mcdonald’s where ofc there were no adults, he explored and started making food for two hungry kids they came into the mcdonalds. i think he’s gonna end up cooking for everyone because the book mentions how he likes to cook.

interesting. there was a fire, no adults around to put it out. sam went into the building almost dying trying to save the little girl inside. discovered she had powers like him. she died, astrid’s brother missing, they travel at night to find him, howard bullies them on their way out.

good. sam has powers, adults still missing. sam already knew life wasn’t normal. curious if the vultures eat the girl who got into the accident with her dog.
