Status Updates From Till We Have Faces

To be cursed to only know love as jealousy...

This one has been sitting in my library for a while. My partner loves c.s lewis, but none of his fictional works. I don't know what to make of this, as an older sister who has raised her little siblings, I know this practical motherly instinct. The near jealousy or envy that a child doesn't love you as much as you love them, but all that is years behind me now. this reads like a lifetime ago.
