Status Updates From Feminism for Women

The first 50 pages of this were good but Bindel has spent way too much time repeating herself. The next chapter looks like it's going to center a slightly different topic but one that still focuses on violence.

I agree that the problems Bindel lists are problems - rape, domestic violence, prostitution, surrogacy - but I wouldn't call this patriarchy. I simply call it impoverished women being harmed.

Bindel is a good writer. She's able to get information across well and be interesting. Like when she puts the numbers "into perspective" on page 44.
