Status Updates From Whose Samosa is it Anyway?

Hardly a page is dedicated to the history of Samosa. Nevertheless, I am not disappointed by this extensive research compilation of India’s food history. One of a kind book.

This is more of a historical analysis than food writing. The research and factual depth are comparable to Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, but with a specific focus on the food and agricultural practices of the Indus Valley Civilization and their influence on our modern dietary habits over the centuries.

It is books like these that really teach me history in an interesting manner. Food + history - whatta beautiful combo.
